Brandon, speaking for those of us who do not own a timeshare, I think we'd be grateful to hear how we can be removed from your call list - AND from the list owned by your partner company. Thank you.
Time Share is totally a scam industry in my humble opinion, so if you do not want to have your mission tainted you would be well advised to not associate your organization with Time Share.
I am trying to donate my timeshare after 30 years of usage. I gave up trying to sell it as all roads led to scammers after researching the many companies that contacted me and wanted large sums of upfront fees. The number of scam reports, ripoff reports, etc. was alarming so I switched gears and decided to donate my week to charity. However, after submitting an inquiry on your site, I was immediately contacted by Timeshare Adventures and was guaranteed that they would take it off my hands after paying $2500 upfront! A google search quickly revealed that this company was another scammer. If this is the type of company your charitable organization associates with, what does that say about you? Sounds like Gunnar hit the nail on the head.Care to comment Mr. Williams?
Timeshare nonsense. Adopt-a-care is something about donating time on your timeshare. Sounds like a scam!! I don't have a timeshare. Call came from Florida.
PS. Although this is the same message posted on one other similar comment. Please note that unlike many organizations we kindly offer on our voice mail a request for other to be removed. We only call once and then ask if the party wants to be removed. Again, sorry for any inconvenience.
Well Brandon, I think you had better pray that you ARE legitimate. With the recent developments & convictions within the fraudulent time-share rackets only a complete fool would be involved in them. Unless the fool had nothing better planned to do than sit in a federal prison for the next couple of decades or so anyway. Gunnar
Thank you for your concern Mr. Gunnar. Felt lead to respond, and certainly your comments forced another evaluation. Think it is not important that we pray we are legitimate as one should know his or her own heart, But would agree that we do Pray to stay Legitimate, do the right thing as in any operation, Not for Profit or a For Profit. . Sadly, it seems in today's society, just showing up and being honest, are bonuses and should be the norm. In hindsight, we are very fortunate to have associated ourselves, and from the beginning, with a company that has been in business for over a decade, They even have an attorney on staff thats familiar with new laws and different states, etc.. Starting to feel like they are one of the few with integrity and ethics. Also feel blessed to be an adjunct and for us to able to work with them, as we have had a real awakening to the negative nuances of this industry. The Vacation Donation Program is just a small aspect of AdoptaCare, Its' not our main focus but it is a contributed. Sincerely & God Bless! Brandon
Your inability to phrase a post correctly, and the fact that it took you a month and a half to reply, leads me to believe you're a foreign scammer. One who is, no doubt, wondering why his scam is failing. Which lead you here. Please feel free to prove me wrong. Post your outfits legitimate, physical address. The owners name(s). Your license numbers & the states your licensed to operate in etc. Somehow I doubt you'll be posting a verifiable thing. I don't think any of us will be wondering why. Gunnar
What is your physical address? Still waiting... That number can be made to look like it is from Florida.
