Got a message on my machine from this number. Bad echo chamber. Obviously not a native English speaker. Echo so bad all I could understand was a "legal threat" of some kind and his phone number to call back.

Its a Scam

According to these bozos I'm in trouble with the IRS and I told her I was already paying them $600 a month and she said IRS had turned my account over to them and I said quit calling me or I will turn you over to the authorities and yes the message on my machine was as if they were standing in an echo chamber, difficult to hear, I called them back and the lady I spoke to, got upset when I told her what I was going to do, and surprise! she hung up on me.

I got a robocall from this number saying they were the US Treasury. I called the number back and asked to be removed, they told me I was going to be arrested. I told them I was going to report them to the authorities and they kept calling me back every few minutes for about 10 minutes.

This is a scam stating you did not file Taxes correctly for the Year 2010, They wish you to pay or risk legal action.

I have also received numerous weird calls from this number, as well as other numbers with a +1 at the beginning. I've been told that this is usually used to "spoof" the actual origin of the call. It's actually probably a international call, which explains the awful quality! Don't answer, and if you do, just tell them they'll have to speak to your lawyer. Stopped my friends calls pretty quick.

Calls, leaves v/m asking me to call them about some legal problem. They didn't mention my name. the most astounding echo chamber sound effects!clearly a scam
