The person asked for me by name and wanted to talk about my computer. I just hung up.
Call came in today and was automatically blocked by the online call-blocking service I and many others use. Since they already were blocked, without my reporting them, you can be sure they are up to no good. Be advised. Their Caller ID says only "NAME NOT FOUND," in uppercase letters.
Received a call from this number, my security program said it was from Canada. Didn't give them the satisfaction of answering
"unknown name" called my home phone. I suspected it was an unwanted call, so I picked up the phone but didn't say anything, knowing that if I heard nothing it was for sure a robo call. I sat quietly on the line for about a minute and a half, and then they disconnected without ever saying a word. A robo call needs you to say something and then it will transfer you to a human scammer. So, either don't answer or say nothing if you don't recognize the number.
