You need to chill Omaha Steaks. If you don't, they spoil really quickly. You only make that mistake once.

Just received a call, two rings and a hangup. Also ordered from Omaha steaks this last Christmas.

Yes, it must be Omaha Steaks. I made my first purchase there a week ago. Today, I received a call from this number. Some things are not coincidence. Here we go - This is why I give fake phone numbers when asked on a form like this. I guess I slipped.

Yup, just called them back and it's Omaha Steaks. I agree with everyone - they shouldn't make sales calls to my phone, but they're generally nice people and were happy to take me off the call list.Not sure about those 2 crazy posts early in the thread about this being a secret collection agency plot to make me think they're Omaha Steaks. If they could tap into my phone bills and stuff, of all the different names and businesses I call why would they choose to pose as Omaha Steaks? Those evil geniuses at the collection agency must be thinking "no one would suspect Omaha Steaks...bwahahahahhahahahha we will collect from everyone!"Nope, I'm pretty sure it's Omaha Steaks. And for those of you haven't tried them, I highly recommend! It's so nice to have a few weeks' worth of steaks, chicken cutlets, and burgers in the freezer instead of just ordering chinese take-out again. Plus if you're lonely you can call 402-593-7107 and speak to a nice person from Nebraska - at least it's not some call center in India.

Just like the previous post, I got calls 4 to five times a day- no message. I knew it ws Omaha, I just hoped they would get the hint...they didn't. I called the number as mentioned in this post and they took me off the list and apologised for the 'inconvenience.'On the plus side, I called at 3:40am on a Saturday morning and a live human being that could take care of my problem answered within five seconds - I don't get that even with my doctors office.

Caller ID was (402) 593-7107, could hear boiler room chatter in the background. Asked for wife by first name; I ask "What does this pertain to?" and they hung up on me. We are on the do-not-call list.I don't think that this is Omaha Steaks. We buy from them and we do get calls occasionally (every couple of weeks) but they are always courteous and friendly. I think it's a scam call (bogus lottery -- we've been getting those lately, social engineering/identity theft, etc).I got a call from a collection agent last week and taught this young fellow how to do a perplex search on the WWW after finding his target for him and calling back. Most of them will be reasonably courteous. This number is almost certainly not legitimate.

Have been getting a call once every day for about two weeks. That's quite excessive considering that I placed ONE online order with them, and there was no issue with it.
