How can this be? After just getting a call on my cell that only personal contacts know the number for, I did some googling and found this on another site logging calls from the same number:- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Got the call no msg. When I tried to call it back it is declaired as "Not In Service". Spoke with a Tellus Operator and she informed me that it is probably and overseas scam that uses a north american router but displays a Canadian Number. So yet again another scam out there to waist my time and cell min! My questions is how did they get my unlised cell number?- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I'm in Vancouver and I've got phone calls from this number three times so far! Good thing that I missed all of them! I'm with Fido.

received this call 9:48am, Telus Mobility, Victoria BC. Picked up and it was a recorded msg, 2600 travel dollar...hung up right away.

Me too - at 11:40 PM Pacific time.I tried calling the number back a few times but it always came back "not in service".

Ya I just the call too. "you've won 2600 travel dollars!" blah blah....I'm with Telus in Vancouver area. I'd love to know how to track these people down.

got the same call, someone is very committed to making fake calls out there.

Second time this week I rec'd a call from 403-201-9988, didn't answer (never do if I don't recognize the #), they didn't leave a message. Hmm Mr. Snickers.. good on you for putting 2+2 together re CraigsList. I had run a few ads over the past 2 weeks so that would make sense!

I've got the same call what does it mean?

Said i won travel dollars press 1. What do you do if you recieve these calls who do you report it to? Aren't phone scams illegal?
