Keep track of how many times they call, exactly what they say, request written confirmation of the debt with a full and proper accounting, and if they don't provide it (as they are legally obligated to do) then you file a formal complaint with Service Alberta. Most importantly, educate yourself about your rights as a consumer with debt and what the fair & legal debt collection practices are. Arm yourself with that knowledge and they can't do much about it 9 times out of 10.
