they call about 10 times a day to my business cell phone, do not talk or answer, wasting my time while I work

Good for you! Got calls from these a holes too. So I pressed *67 called them, on hold for 20 mins., then got "transferring your call", then got "goodbye"What gets me is the lack of [***] government regulations! And I have an unlisted ph number!

A man wanted to give me a free estimate for new windows. I said no thanks but he wanted to keep talking. He hung up when I advised him I was on social security and asked him whether he wanted me to give up food or prescriptions to pay for the windows as I presumed they would not be free.

nonsense call. telemarketing. I couldn't call back. I ignore these calls mostly

THE SAME COMPANY HAVE BEEN CALLING ME FROM DIFFERENT NUMBERS AND STATES: TEXAS (432.269.0478), FLORIDA (813.295.2303), NEW YORK (917.341.2881), CALIFORNIA (323.562.4047), WASHINGTON DC (202.618.8285), OKLAHOMA (405.421.0331) for a whole week (From Apr 21 - until today)

Unbelievable - they constantly call my Nana and won't stop. This is a job??I contacted www.donotcall.gov and reported them.

Good job. If I am in the mood I'll answer with my best accent matching that of the caller. After a couple of laughs to myself and from my kids, and head shaking from my wife (I married this guy, lol) I close with "have a good day".

Yep, I'm on the National Do-Not-Call Registry, but they keep on calling because there's no teeth in the law. I guess that leaves it up to US to police it... This call was from "Josh" at "Home Improvements and Remodeling Group:. I told him yes, I was definitely interested in estimates to get new windows, and sure, why not hardwood floors while we're at it. Now, when the contractors that are employing "Josh" (as a sales lead aggregator) call, I'll waste as much of their time as possible, giving bogus info about me, my house and the renovations I'm interested in. At some point, I'll let them know they are being punked, and the fact that they are using an aggregator who is operating illegally in violation of the NDNCR does not reflect positively on their company. I'll request that they pass this call up the line, so the folks heading up the sales department understand that any advantage they are gaining by using the outlaw phoners can more than be offset by folks wasting their time and resources by punking them in defense of the NDNCR. Sometimes if you want to fix something RIGHT, you just have to DIY...
