I've had the same number for over 15 years and am inundated with hang up and spam calles after switching from att to Fi a year ago.
This company feloniously harasses innocent citizens by use of interstate telephone facilities and they bribe Congress to keep the US Attorney off their case.
I just started getting calls from 408-256-0700 again after receiving none for a few months. This time, it's crazy. For calls this morning alone.Because of something a guy said on one if the sites like this to report spam calls, I left the number unblocked and put it in my directory as "WTFi?" because it was questionable. Like Steve above, he had a lengthy post and sounded pretty up on things, and he advised to not block it because if something to do with the 911 system and Fi phones.But now, the calls I'm getting on that number are all scammers, so what to do, right? I see SO many scammers spoofing numbers, especially this one, so now I'm going to block it and hope like mad it's not needed to identify anything to do with the 911 system.Google has obviously made no effort to remedy this issue. People at Defcon hacked voting machines in two minutes, so why can't Google hire a few of those guys to find a fix for this?
Also on Fi. Called yesterday 4 times in 7 hours. I recently changed my call block to not answer a call from anyone not on my contact list, so they only got logged and never got through.
Im a Google Fi user. Called me twice today, no message. Though I read on another forum that it may be connected to having called 911 before, which I did about 12 hours ago. Strange.
This number has called five times and True Caller has blocked them all five times. I've had my number for over ten years but recently switched to Google Fi which seems to be the only common thread for those that have been called recently.
A lady kept calling and asking for Maurice even after saying that I didn't know that person. Possibly a debt collector of someone up to no good. Safe to block on Fi per Fi customer service.

Got a letter that said I applied for an AMAZON card. Called the number to inquire what this was for, they started asking for personal information. When I said no they hung up on me.

Scam debit collector. I say 'scam' because I don't have a credit card, loan, lease, tuition, or debit or any kind. I own my home, vehicle, and everything in them. There's not a single reason for a debit collector to be calling me.
