Fraud - says that they are from American Express, but I called the American Express Customer Service number and they said that number is not an American Express number.Do not call back - call the number on the back of your American Express card.

Received a phone message on my home phone from "Henry" at this number, plus an extension number. He said he was from American Express. I called it back -- no answer after several rings. I called the real AmEx customer service -- they confirmed it is not an AmEx number.

It is an American Express number however every time I call back and enter the extension it is busy. Customer Service can't reach that number or extension but they see notes from the gentlement in my account notes that he called 3 times and left a message each time. That is correct.

This is BS... I called from my office ( A law firm) and they will NOT pick up. At the same time, I call them from my personal number they called me from and they keep hanging up on me. F-R-A-U-D. Just like they said, my conversation to them was ALSO recorded.

This number is American Express. The person that left the voice mail on my was the same voice as a person I had spoken to at American Express earlier in the day. However, every time I try to call the number and enter in the 5 digit extension number I get a busy signal.

Left a message at my work number claiming to be American Express and leaving an extension to punch in when you return the call. Also mentioned in the message that they were calling about my recent billing dispute with AMEX (I actually had questioned a recent charge on my card and had used the chat feature on the real AMEX's website to discuss it with a customer service rep.) I returned the call to see what was up, because I was puzzled as to why AMEX would 1) call me, since the dispute had been resolved and 2) why they would call me on my work number, which AMEX would never use, since they have my cell and home #s. The "rep" who answered (who barely spoke English) asked me right away to give her my AMEX card number. I told her to shove it and not to call again before hanging up. At the same time, another "rep" from this same scam outfit called my home number an left a voice mail repeating the message of the other rep-call her regarding my "dispute" with AMEX. She left the 866 number for a call back but my caller ID identified her as calling from a 602 area code number. The caller ID identified the number as being "American Express." I did not bother to call back of course. These people are NOT AMEX. No AMEX rep would ask you off the bat for your card number. Plus, the numbers given are proven to not be AMEX numbers. DO NOT RETURN THIER CALLS. Just report each incident, as I did. Hopefully, these losers will move on to a new scam.
