This is the message: Hello thank you for being a valued customer of b g e also known as Baltimore Gas and Electric The following is an important update regarding your account starting this month all current customers who have not missed any payments in the past 6 months will now be eligible for a discount for up to 30 percent off of their monthly bill if you would like to check your eligibility simply press one on your phone now. Requested I press 1 for more information. I never press 1 for any robo call, I hung up.

Robocall per Robokiller and Nomorobo. Nomorobo also includes a voice msg that indicates it is a BGE phone scam. There are multiple numbers I've received this same VM from over multiple years. This particular call supposedly originates from Elkridge, MD though it could be from anywhere on the planet. Three calls from this number in two days so far. The msg says I'm a valued customer. The major problem with this msg is that I am not and never have been a BGE customer. I suspect this scammer is phishing for information and most likely has been using spoofed numbers. Do not respond to this call in anyway.
