411-657-5668 called landline @ 6:45AM. Answered automatically thinking it was work emergency. Foreign-sounding male said my home computer had a virus and was extremely persistent about "helping fix it." When told it was too early in the morning he said he'd call back in 3 hours. He got angry when he was told there was nothing wrong with the computer but was still demanding he fix it. I hung up. Concerned now about phone bill charges, will contact provider.
He also said if there was more than one computer or smartphone he'd have to "fix" every one of them. Uh-huh...
Indian sounding person said they had been numerous "error" messages and advised that he could look at it. Anything that he found would be up to me to decide to repair. Asked if I was in front of my computer and very insistent that I follow his instructions. I told him to never call again and that I would be reporting the call. I'm smart enough not to let anyone have access to my computer....

Yes. The caller claimed to represent Document Delivery Services and threatened to serve me with papers from a fifteen year old debt. A check with my local County Clerk’s Office revealed no evidence of lawsuit filed.
