I was getting too many spam, spoof calls... so I blocked all incoming calls except text which I prefer anyway. I did some research. The caller's number is fake, they can pick any number they wish. They have some information on you already and are likely attempting to acuire more.The goal is to steal your funds, equity, identity, open accounts in your name. They acuire your information often by hacking banks, grocery chain, loan mortgages, title companies, etc. These companies store your personal information, often without your knowledge, usually for sales purposes, but when stolen by hackers. Your information is often sold in the black market and the process starts.Sadly it often starts by you providing excessive personal information that's not required. Why does a gym, grocery store or coffee shop need your phone number? Don't provide it! It's not required? There're not a government agency, you're not required by law to have a phone number or required to give it out.You're not required to provide your phone number to law enforcement or answer any of their questions, under the 5th amendment, yet people feel obligated because you don't want to come across as rude... This is how innocent people get taken advantage of or end up in jail, by saying a contradiction that goes aginst the police belief system when you had a right not to say anything, even in a simple traffic stop. So providing exessive information starts benign and can lead to all kinds of headaches down the road. The benefits of technology is lacking technology to protect our privacy unless you're willing to pay which is a scam within itself in my opinion.

The "144" prefix starting with a "1" is not valid, so I knew this was spam. Didn't answer. I'm surprised that T-Mobile allowed this call to go through.

My caller I'd was spot on...it came up "Spam" had to laugh

This number has called me 3 days in a row. It's a guy's voice and he hung up on me today. Get a life you filthy scammer!

kept calling. never left a voicemail. one of many strange numbers calling each day. we're in the new era of phone scams or some people simply are lonely or having too much free time on their hand.
