Called and had the last 4 digits of my ss# saying I had a warrant

This number has called me twice and left vague threats regarding a pending case. The messages state they are from some place called Pretrial Intervention. When you call back they say they are with "litigation support" or some such thing. They state that I or my attorney of record must call them back immediately. I called back and spoke to some woman. She said that an arrest warrant had been issued for me at the request of an online payday loan company for a nsf returned check. She knew my real name and a lot of my personal information. I told her I didn't believe what she was telling me and that I thought it was a load of bull****. At that point she hung up on me. I called back a few minutes later and spoke with someone else. She put me on hold while she "ran my number". When she came back on the line she asked if there was a Nancy Smith at this number. When I told her no and said someone else there already verified my real name, she said it must be a wrong number and apologized then hung up. I called back a third time and spoke with yet another woman. She "ran my number" and said that the number was no longer in the system and I should just disregard the call. Smells like a nasty scam.They try to scare people into paying money to avoid being arrested.

I've received phone calls and messages from this number for the past several days. A man named Cory left the messages. I called back and a lady answered and had my name and the last four of my SSN. She stated that she was working for a litigation services company and that I have a warrant out for an outstanding payday loan from 2011. She stated that I could pay half and do the other half another day. I said I wasn't able to pay that at this time thinking something doesn't seem right. I stated that I would give her a call back and she told me to call her back within 30 min to an hour. I called back 5 min later. The same lady answered the phone and put me on hold when I asked to speak to "Alexis" she then got back on the phone as "Alexis" I informed her that I wouldn't be able to pay until Monday she mistakenly said "ok you can hit me up on Monday" hit you up on Monday? I'm not your homie! She caught herself, giggled and said I could give her a call back on Monday, but that I would have to call back in the morning. The other "odd" thing that happened is as soon as she hung up, the phone beeped three times as a cell phone does when it hangs up. Lol not getting my info.

Got a call from a woman saying that I took out a online loan in 2011. She said that there was a warrant out for my arrest unless I paid half of the 945.00 balance right now and the other half later. She had the last 4 of my ssn, email and one of my past addesses. I told her I would have to give her a call back after I spoke with my wife. She said she would call me back in a hour. This a SCAM people! I called to see if there was any such warrant issued and there wasnt. Thanks to all that posted before to raise the red flags!

Same thing as other posts, left a message saying they are from pre trial department, to call back. I have never taken out a payday loan, I have received numerous calls like this from different numbers, nothing happens.. Nobody will let you know you are getting arrested.

same as the rest . True nobody calls you to tell you about a warrant it s a scam

I have been getting calls from this number for the 3 days, said there is warrant out for my arrested. I didn't call them back. Cause I knew it wad, another SCAM. So do anybody listen to them.

I use to get calls about warrants out for me like 2 years, ago to. I knew it was another scam nobody is going to call you to tell you there a, warrant out for you to. A big SCAM TRYING TO GET MOVE OUT OF PEOPLE TO. THEY NEED O BE REPORT TO.

I have been gets calls for the last 3 days from this his name is Cory telling me need to talk to me or mine attorney I have never taken out payday loan either. It just another big SCAM. I USE TO GET CALL LIKE THIS 2 YEARS, AGO TO. I DID CALL THE BACK EITHER. I KNEW IT WAS A SCAM THEY JUST WANT MONEY FROM US THEY NEED TO BE STOP NOW.

I received this call and was told to either pay up or turn myself in. When I inquired to whom had set charges against me the guy on the line said they did not wish to be in contact with me. I said "[***] I have a right to face my accuser" at this point he hung up.
