received 2 calls today (12:53 pm and 2:19 pm) - didn't answer the call and no message was left.
These people will just record your voice in order to manipulate it into a "recording" of you agreeing to something. That is why they want to record you and let you talk to nothing. These people are insane and will not stop calling even if you tell them it is wrong number. They do not care, they will continue to call in order to get your voice and rip you off. Do not answer your phone, do not speak to them. They are evil.
They are not exempt if it is a scam or if you tell them they are no longer allowed to call you. If you tell them that they are not allowed to call you, then they are only allowed to contact you by mail. If they have never contacted you by mail to show proof of debt, then they are a scammer.
Also if you have the time to waste, call them back and just leave your phone off the hook for 10 mins. Help stop these diseased monsters.
The Do Not Call List doesn't work, end of story. The FCC doesn't respond to complaint, I know because I have made several, all my phone numbers are on the DNCL and still get the calls. If you want to get these scammers you have to get proof of there calls, multiple calls a day, calls before 8am and after 9pm, and you have to actually speak to someone and give them notice to stop calling, then you have to get proof that they still call. If you can do all that, then you have to take it to a lawyer and sue them. You can win if you get the proof that they call when they are not allowed to, meaning before 8am or after 9pm or after you have told them and have proof that you told them to stop. If they call you before or after the allowed time, you can be awarded money damages.
