refund scam. they tell you your card is going to be auto-charged for $399.99 for "firewall security." the hope is you say to cancel it, at which point they want to remotely connect to your PC, then get you to log in to your bank. Then, they rob you, using nonrefundable methods like gift cards that they promptly redeem, etc. Mostly target the elderly

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.
