Someone from this number claimed to be from Regency collections, trying to collect a debt from US diagnostics lab. They claimed I owed about $390 (can't remember exactly) for lab tests in 2018. They could not tell me the doctor. They had my address and claimed they had sent bills in the mail previously. I told them I had just seen the doctor and I wouldn't have been allowed to have the appointment if I owed them any money, but they didn't say anything about that. When I argued any points he began to get upset and ended the call. Then I called back they hung up. When I called yet again I spoke to someone who sounded a lot like the first caller but claimed to be someone else. When I asked more questions he said he couldn't give me details b/c he didn't "have my file" in front of him which sounded fishy since he had my name (caller ID I'm guessing) I think this is a big ol' SCAM and I will be taking steps to report them to the authorities...

It is a legit PNC Bank phone no. I wrote out a $12000. check and they called to verify and had the last 3 digits of checking acct. on message.
