I just registered/bought a domain name. Domains By Proxy is a company that hides your personal information so members on my site cannot look up my personal info. Just an FYI.

This is not the real name of the company. It's actually the name of the company that you pay for to hide your personal information from people trying to find out who owns a domain name. The information for my site is the same exact thing. I do not live in Scottsdale AZ, I live on Long Island, NY. :-P thus the name: Domains BY PROXY. ;)

I simply researched an email "sales pitch" .which took me to domains by proxy. - did not receive a call but did get an email today - thought Id do my research which brought me to all of you. busy day for them!

Just got my phone bill and I have a long distance call to this number listed in Phoenix Arizona that lasted 22 minutes. I live in Vancouver BC. I called the number to find who it was, but the rep said he could not divulge that information. I googled it, but still can't figure out exactly who it is...I can't figure out who in this house would have called this number. Can someone clarify for me please??

Called this number and it is Go Daddy 480-624-2599 Is this their site? www.mncarloans.com I filled out my info on their site and got no response. Worst thing is I gave them my social security number dumb. What are they going to do with my number???

The company is Domains By Proxy Inc and they list Godaddy's number

There are a couple different WEB site registrations for this number. One is eulitigations.com, they try to scare you into paying for a payday loan you never took out. They threaten you with court paperwork being delivered to your home or place of work, fraud charges, etc. Just more worthless pieces of crap infecting our country.

There is another one called Twimboe listing this number. Its acting funny these days. Making its members believe a story of hacking.

Well, as they say in Hollywierd the only bad publicity is no publicity. If you are so consarned (sic) about your personal information why do you publish on the internet? Apparently this is another case of some one forging a number. This is really a legal problem and since nothing is illegal on the internet expect that it will continue as long as this conduct is allowed to pay.
