Somehow these guys attempted to add their number to my PayPal account. Never was completed as they couldn't confirm the phone number addition by logging into my account. Deleted the number from my account. Who knows how many people actually confirmed the account.
Was just on my PP account,.. and noted the same number (480-707-4000) was in my phone number list,.. I deleted it and decided to see if I could locate the owner on the web,... took me to this site. Apparently I'm not the only one they tried to steal from,.. [***],.. if I find out WHO you are expect a visit!
The phone number 480-707-4000 was on my paypal account too. Unverified, but still! I can't believe someone hacked into my paypal account and added this number to my phone number list. How can they be prosecuted to the fullest extend? Contacting PayPal?
I just happened to be looking at my pay pal account, hadn't used it in years and I see this number 480-707-4000 listed in my account phone numbers. I have no idea how long it's been there or if they have had access to my account! Now I'm pissed.
While going thru my paypal account tonight I noticed this number 480-707-4000 was on my phone number list for my account. I immediately called paypal. This number had been added to my account back in 2011--yikes! Paypal removed the number and I have changed all of my security questions, etc.
Just like above, I was going through my paypal account based on an email I received from paypal about a transaction from 2012 and discovered this phone number added to my account, I contacted paypal fraud and notified them of the intrusion, they reviewed it and I removed the phone number. This number is involved in a lot of fraud.
