Called my cell. I did not answer. Added the number to my contact list under Nuisances. If they call again, I can just hit "ignore".
Received a call from "Skype" @ 484-489-0922 which asked me to participate in a survey in exchange for a free 2-night cruise on the Bahama Celebration to Grand Bahama Island. I answered the three survey questions and was switched to a very good telemarketer who tried to get me to give him my Credit card # and allow him to charge it $118.00 for the "Customs Fee." The all-inclusive cruise was then "free." I asked for some proof that this wasn't a scam and they had me go to www.2012getaway.com which is a web sight for the cruise line. After a minute or two of his telemarketing BS I told him I was declining his offer and he very quickly hung up. Did I just pass on a good deal? Or, fail to fall for a scam?
Just got a call (no message) from this number even though our phone has been registered with the National Do Not Call Registry. Too bad that they are scamming us and Skype by using their name on caller ID. Thanks 800notes contributors for posting your experiences with this caller.
They called my cell, did not know the number, did not answer. area code in PA, they left no message.
Just got this call from SKYPE at 7:43 pm on Feb.10th,2012. Answered phone & said Hello twice & there was no reply, so I hung up.
Called my cell at 8pm, but I did not answer ( it costs me a day rate to use my phone). They did not leave a message. I am in South Texas.

Called three times and left no message. The third time the name that came up on my phone was Authors Club president. I answered and the caller then said they were collecting on a debt, claimed they were recording the call. Scam.
