They get around the Do Not Call list by saying it is for political purposes, but it really is not. Simply by having you speak to a cruise representative, they have violated the DNC rules as there can be no solicitation for services in order to be exempt from the DNC rules. This is not for political purposes or for a cruise. It is solely to get credit card info. Be careful of this type of scam. I have Verizon and I just put my phone on Call Forwarding to an out of use number so they get a message that indicates, "This number is no longer in service." Sometimes I Call Forward to another scammer number so they can both speak to each other. My calls have diminished greatly. Sometimes I play along with them just to waste their time, and at the end refuse to give info or purchase anything. Sometimes I pretend I am hard of hearing and make them repeat everything very loudly many, many times. Then they just hang up.
I got a call on my cell from this number at 9:11 AM Eastern Time this morning. Like so many others, I did not recognize it and did not answer; no message left. So many people have posted already about this number just today! I appreciate everybody providing feedback to help others avoid these robo-calls/scams/etc.Thank you, everybody!
Call them back, dont hit #2..hit #1 and you get a message that your number has been permanently removed....tricky b@stards
Got a call from "Politcal Surveys" it was a recording. Didn't listen long enough to find out more. They called my land line at home last night.
Political call judging from the other posts. They are doubly immune from Do-Not-Call lists; first because it is a survey and second because it is political. Fortunately my cell provider (verizon) has a feature to block calls.

Called three times and left no message. The third time the name that came up on my phone was Authors Club president. I answered and the caller then said they were collecting on a debt, claimed they were recording the call. Scam.
