The actual number on my cell phone caller ID read 498-951-66799. There was a non-English blurb of less than a second and then the caller hung up. After searching on the internet, I found that some credit card calling companies for Vietnam-originating calls show up as area code 498 on the caller ID - there is no such area code in the United States. Very annoying and I am hoping that I will not incur any cell phone charges over this.
