They were asking if I knew someone. The name they asked for was my ex-wife's. They didn't say why or anything. Just said 'thanks' and hung up.
Second time they called this week; different person than before, but asking for same person as first call . I didn't answer but they left a message looking for a woman whom I have never heard of, and it was "important that they speak with her today". Either it's a scam or the person they want had my number before me.

Someone using this number called, when I answered there seemed to be there cut I said "hello" twice and no one said a thing. I hung up. If it was a collector they would not only answer but keep you on the line for as long as it took.
