Dial tone when I tried to answer (after several rings cuz i was on the other line). Could this be a calling card number?
It was a scammer. He politely asked me for my social security number, my banking pin, and my logins for all my accounts. This was to verify my identity for him. Sounded Nigerian, or arab.
They called to do a political survey,and enter you into a drawing for a free cruise. Completely illegal, and against FTC rules.
Got two unknown calls and then this number called so I answered it . No one answered so I hung up. Yes, I agree it is really getting annoying!!!
Got this for the first time today and checked in here...Perhaps a robocall checking viable phone numbers? I mark as SCAM and do not answer... If I had my Ooma up I would block this number.
Got a call from this number at 1:10 PM Texas time, did not leave a message. I saved the number under "telemarketer" to avoid answering ever again. I will do the same for every bogus call I get. It seems to be always the same numbers calling. I'm registered with the do not call list, but it does not stop them from calling.

just got a call from 888-431-7820. Told me I was breach of contract. Very hard to understand the lady. I dont have a contract with anyone that I know of. When I look to see the number call it tells me Claim Services.
