Got a phone call at 1:32 PM on 27 Oct 2011. missed call, called back. nothing but sirens on the other side. I've got a Tennesee area code, but live in colorado.
I got a call from them today, Oct 28, and I live in California.Once when I tried to find out about these numbers, it was claimed that they turn off and restart their numbers each time and that is why they can't be tracked and brought to justice. Which is totally absurd since that would have to be with the help of the phone company to let them turn off and on their number each time. Something is very fishy - otherwise they couldn't have an invalid number when calling back and yet continue to make calls from the same number for days on end all over the USA.
It's amazing how people get so worked up because they get an unknown call. Why do they callback?
I got a call from this number today, Oct 28, and I live in California.Once when I tried to track down one of these scam numbers - it was claimed that they disconnect their phone each time and that is why they couldn't be tracked. Which sounds really fishy since they couldn't turn it off and on and still make all these calls day after day all over the US without the help of the phone company then.
Just got this call. i don't intend to call it though. i don't have time for telemarketers !!!!!!!!

Someone using this number called, when I answered there seemed to be there cut I said "hello" twice and no one said a thing. I hung up. If it was a collector they would not only answer but keep you on the line for as long as it took.

Yes. The caller claimed to represent Document Delivery Services and threatened to serve me with papers from a fifteen year old debt. A check with my local County Clerk’s Office revealed no evidence of lawsuit filed.
