I got a call from this person 1-508-575-6868 with no voicemail left. Glad I didn't answer it. If it happens again I'll report it to T-Mobile.
I received a call on my voice mail from this number. If I don't recognize the number, generally means it is an incoming telemarketing call from some scammer or fraudster. It must be really frustrating for people who depend on their cell phone for business calls!
Yes, I also just received a phone call from this number, not 20 minutes ago. I was woken up by the phone and answered. I got a voice recording in English saying as a Telus customer, I had just won a prize and to press one to receive it. Then there was a long stretch of hooplah music playing, but finally I was connected to a man speaking English, but with foreign accent. He said nothing about a "prize" specifically, however he said in order to redeem my vacation package he needed to know if I was over the age of 23; to which I said yes. Then he asked if I an American express, Visa, Mastercard, etc. I said no, to which he thanked me very much and hung up.I reported this to my Telus mobile customer service and they checked my account and to my relief said no long distance charge had been logged to my account. This is definitely an unsolicited sales call and most likely if I had have given him a credit card information I would have received a huge charge on it with no vacation forthcoming.Hope this helps anyone questioning this phone call display number.
Same as everyone else here, same number called about 5 min ago. i didn't pick up, searched it to get here.
hahahha omgg!! it happened to me and totally pressed one!! hahaha nothing happened tho! don't worry guys!
Got a call from this number and it was a recording saying I won a vacation contest that was available to rogers customers only.Asked me to press 1 to talk to a customer service agent. Right there I know it's some scam.A guy with an odd accent who minces his words like mushmouth off the old Cosby show came on and asked me if I wanted to know more about my vacation prize package.I said sure just as soon as he explains how they got my phone number and why it was only for AT & T customers. He explained it was an AT&T sponsored contest and that's when the call hung up automatically. Like there was someone listening to the call and would disconnect if the participant asked too many questions.Oh and the area code, 508 is New Orleans.
From Vancouver BC. Just got a call from 508-575-6868 on my cell phone. I did not answer but I found this sight when I was checking out who called me. I do not think the caller got my number from Facebook because this number is not on Facebook. Glad I did not answer.
