Telling me they were B of A. False. Wanting money, really??
tou called my cell on 12-31 11am, 1.46pm, 3.30pm...Please stop wasting your time and dont call again
this is bank of america..dont know why they have my number I do not do business with them
They say they are B of A but I don't think so. They asked for my loan number and when I gave it to them they said that it didn't match so they needed my SS#. I asked if they were actually B of A or someone that B of A sourced out to and she hung up on me.
HOMEOWNERS BEWARE and don't be UNAWARE! The call you are receiving is from a debt collection outfit claiming to represent BOA. When you receive an envelope with paperwork for you to complete in order to be reviewed for a modification of your loan, DO NOT FORWARD YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION! INSTEAD, At the back of the package is a Disclosure page with instructions as how to dispute the debt. Send a letter of dispute within 30 days requiring a "received by" signature when it is delivered to the debt collector address. Keep all evidence. Get a lawyer. You most undoubtedly are involved in the nationwide foreclosure scam where servicers are attempting to get a current signature out of you because they do not hold the original note you signed and have NO authority to foreclose or collect from you. BUT FIRST, check your transfer history of servicing and sold loan status. BOA must be listed to be legal in the collection and receipt of a mere penny. File suit for any prior monies paid them or other servicer not present in your local government tracking system. GET A LAWYER or wait for the feds to chime in on the reprimand of banks/servicers and devise a course of action and relief for victmized homeowners.
I got a call from them and i dont answer 2 numbers i dont know so they kept on leaving voicemail after voicemail talking about home loan and stuff and im only 12 so i dont pay for my house and stuff. So i got tired of it so my dad called the number and told them not to call again and they said that you could only call at a specific time so he hung up on them
They don't answer when I say, "Hello?". If their name does NOT appear on my caller ID screen I do NOT answer.
Harassing Phone CallsI get frequent harassing calls from this number. I believe it is an outsourced Debt Collection Agency in NC. The opening always says the call may be recorded for Quality Control purposes. If I announce that I am recording the call too, which I do, they tell me that I cannot do that and if I do not turn off the recorder they will end the call. After about 8 calls, I called them and without giving out any personal info, I asked a gent if it was legal for me to record the calls if they are recording them. He said yes! He also said that it used to be against BoA's policy but is not any longer. So if you get harassing phone calls, go to Best Buy or somewhere and get a mini recorder and keep it by your phone.Always answer ALL calls with the phone speaker on. If it is another call from an agency or business you do, or do not do, business with, tell them to hold on a moment, then turn on your recorder then get back to the call. Do not tell them what you did. You may want to tell them just before you finish the call and hang up, just to get their reaction.Copy all the audio clips from the recorder onto your PC, rename them appropriately and file them in folders for future reference. Most mini recorders add the date to the audio clips too. Most states have laws about recording phone calls. Some are two party states, some are one. If you live in a two party state, do NOT give out that you are recording. When they announce that the call is being recorded, say something like OK you just want to verify that the call is being recorded, don't say by whom. That should cover you and should stand up in court, if push comes to shove, as you both know it is being recorded. The calls I have been getting originate in NC which is a one party state, and as the Agency knows they are recording the call, that satisfies the one party requirement.Stand up to them, don’t let them push you around.
