I've been getting calls from this number for days. I've answered a couple times and no one has been on the other line.
Got a call this morning and answered it and cussed at them a little. They were still talking when I hung up.
It is too bad we all can't get together and sue them for calling us as we are all on the no call list. If we could get $1000 a call all of us would be rich and they would be out of business. My understanding is that you can sue and recover money for each unwanted call.
Don't NEVER answer them. It only proves to them that they have a viable, working phone number, and they will keep calling, although I don't know what kicks they get from the continuous calling.
I got Rachel calls for probably five years and had my landline number changed twice......from a number that I had for 40 years--goes back to the time when we had the letter exchanges, Rachel has become Heather. I'm on the Nat'l Do Not Call Registry, doesn't make any difference, because the Gov't can't find them. Now I get calls asking for John and Michael..........well, it took me a minute to figure that out........When I said there was no John or Michael, she said, that's okay, I can talk to you. If these English speaking agents are doing this from the US, they should go to prison for a long, long time. They must be in dire need for money to take a job like that or they are just plain criminals.
They don't stay on the line long enough to use your suggestions. I tried the "hang on just a minute, my pot on the stove is boiling over..........they hung up. Best thing is to have Caller ID, but I can't afford it on my landline. Now they are using cell phone numbers, and I have to ask who is responsible for that? I'm told they use a computer that roams through numbers until it finds one that rings......whether that is a phone book of numbers or a computer that randomly searches........they never stop even when you tell them you don't have any credit cards (which is true for me), you are listed on the NDNCList, you ask them to stop calling you........nothing works.
I get a call from 509-982-4532 everyday and after about a month they change the number to another number. It's from Credit Card services.
This number has been calling my cell the past week. I don't answer numbers I don't know because of the scam calls. They can leave a message and I'll call back if it's someone I know.I appreciate when people note on these sites about these numbers, saves me a lot of worry of missing something important from a long distance friend or family member. So I will try to always do the same. Thanks all!
