I received a call on my cell from the same number and I live in Canada - go figure? I never answer calls where I do not know the number.

This was from the Texas State Comptroller and they were calling to let me know that my first quarter sales tax hadn't been filed. I have a small online business and I didn't have any texas sales so I forgot to file it. File your taxes, people! lol.

It's the Texas Wage Commission. A former employer refused to pay me owed wages and after filing a claim through Texas Workforce Solutions my claim was handed to state worker Nola at the Texas Wage Commission. You can't return the call to 512-427-9057, but Nola's direct number at the state is 512-463-3069 and she can tell you why you are being called.

I missed a call from this number but they left a message. It was the State Comptrollers Office that need to file my sales tax return on my business and they said I can do it on Monday in one of the local offices.

This is an outgoing line only. The call I recieved with to my voicemail where they left a different number to call back. So, it is legit.. Common from Federal and State offices. Some incoming will even show unknown.

I juse received call from this #. It was from texas board of nursing. Glad I answered!

512-427-9057 Seems to be a spoofed number!

someone has been calling me from this number abd threatening to kill me, they have told me they were going to rape and kill me.

I never listen to messages on my cell unless the person name is programmed in but I decided to listen to this repetitive call once. They went on about needing my bills to pay for relocation services. I'm not relocating nor need to so I just blocked it. I asked a few people and they said its a professional scam agency that prays on the elderly with various threats. It sounds like an elaborate scam to retrieve personal information.
