At first they didn't say nothing so I redial the number back and the number for them was a 800 number
They posted the required bond, but that is different from a license. Licenses can be revoked when they are abused. Only about half the states require debt collectors to obtain a license, and Texas is not one of them.Texas does require that companies using an "automatic dial announcing device" (ADAD) obtain a permit from the state. FNCB does not seem to have purchased this permit, and might have trouble obtaining one due to their well known history of non-compliance with the TCPA. This may be one of the reasons their robocalls now just hang up without leaving a message. That gets them through a loophole in the Texas ADAD rules, though the calls are still illegal under federal law when made to cell phones.
Multiple calls, left no message. I answered and said hello many times, nothing on the other end.

I live in Michigan, got a call and text from this number saying to shelter in place. Said there is an active incident and don’t answer doors unless it’s law enforcement officer. Said we’d receive another message when issue resolved.

From the QUITLINE - can be any state - PA for me - I followed their program to quit smoking and this was a follow up survey - NOT SPAM - The service was helpful and the survey harmless.
Got 2 calls from this number stating that it is a colect call from an inmate. We don' t know anyone who is an inmate anywhere.
