The caller ID should come up express-scripts. In addition, they left no message. This is not very good business these days with so much identity theft.I don't answer it and they never leave a message.

What is the prescription?C: I cannot give you that info.B: I am not going to give you any personal information if you cannot even tell me what you are calling about.C: We will send you the information in the mail.B: Fine. I will just wait for the mail.My doctor recently called in a prescription to my local chain pharmacy. I believe the above call is a scam.

From Express Scripts - my doctor sent in two new prescriptions (from his computer) yesterday - this was a call back from express scripts to verify the prescription and get payment for an unpaid invoice before they could ship the new prescriptions.

I just started taking a new medication this week but it wasn't through the computer...however the company called me regarding supplies such as alcohol swabs & disposable needle box. That order was free of charge but it was entered through the computer. I think this company has access to mail order prescriptions and is hoping to get someone gullible enough to give them their credit card information. I do not owe any money for my supplies because it is a free service and I already have my script. When I called the number back the automated message said if you are a patient or doctor you've reached this number in error. Please listen to you message & call back the toll free # given but no one left a message when they called.

THIS IS EXPRESS SCRIPS A PRESCRIPTION COMPANY USE TO BE ALSO MEDCO. they have lots of different offices, las vegas, NJ etc

For most of the people receiving calls from this company; it is most likely not a scam. Recognize that your health insurance company CONTRACTS Express Scripts to reduce their cost. Your Walgreens and Rite-Aid or whatever has a higher cost/overhead for the insurance company. In an effort to save money; the market is going direct to the customer. -- Also note. The Express Scripts call center is in a legal bind- between verification of the person they are talking to and violating HIPAA Laws (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996).Good Luck.

You really sound like the scammer placing these calls why would you bother to write about this number if u didn't receive any calls and cite some 1996 act that makes it perfectly legal to call you.

Called saying is this Kim (not my full name, my actual name is Kimberly) then proceeded to ask what my bank account number was. I refused. Man tells me it's a debt collecter---funny because I have no debts. I have no bills in my name not credit cards. Scam!
