PLEASE STOP CALLING ME! 513-831-2600 HAS BEEN CALLING MY TOLL-FREE # FOR WEEKS/MONTHS - STOP! UNLESS YOU ARE CALLING ABOUT A SOFTWARE PROGRAMMING JOB IN THE SF BAY AREA, DO NOT CALL!
HOW CAN I ASK THEM TO STOP CALLING ME AT ALL HOURS? THEY ASK FOR NICK, THEY ASK FOR PARIS TRUCKING - I DO NOT WANT TO PAY FOR THEIR INCOMING CALLS TO MY TOLLFREE # ANYMORE - - IT'S AWFUL THEY CALL ALL THE TIME!
Caller ID: 'Out of Area'This time no message was left. Yesterday a message was left but difficult to understand but mentioned something about my trucking . . . and other unintelligible info. I have received multiple messages from this number before over the recent years. I have also taken the call in the past to speak with the guy and tell him not to call anymore as I am on the DNC list. Very rude, and still calling. In reading some of the above messages, all I have to say is:I have never used a trucking service.I am not a business.I have never driven a truck.I don't know anyone who has driven a truck.I have had my number for 25+ years and am on the do not call list.I looked up TQL on the BBB website. There is an A+ rating which I question. There are also some reviews:1 POSITIVE review.1 NEUTRAL review which started at "TQL is the worst of the worst" and harassing phone calls. Not what I would call neutral.and 69 COMPLAINTS.There is also an Alert."ALERT!BBB has received information that a consumer received a check from an individual claiming to represent TQL, and was requested they send back a portion of the check to the individual. The check was found to be fraudulent, and TQL has confirmed having no affiliation with any individual or circumstance in which a check would be sent and a consumer asked to return a portion of the funds. The BBB advises you to exercise extreme caution before cashing a cashiers check or money gram that you receive in the mail. Many of these checks look sophisticated and official. You may receive these in the form of supposed lottery winnings, sweepstakes, or uncollected funds, or in conjunction with a work-at-home or secret shopper job offer. The instructions are usually always the same, and ask you to deposit the check received and then forward another check to an agent for the required fees. What actually happens, is you deposit a counterfeit check, and assume that the money is available in a couple of days. You should always wait for your financial institution to confirm that the funds have been "collected" before sending the check for the fees. Many consumers may not understand that when funds are available it means that the financial institution is required by law to allow its customers to withdraw the funds but the customer is still responsible should the funds not be collectible. If you receive one of these checks in the mail you should contact the local Postal Inspector at (513) 684-8000."
They have called me non-stop the past few days, I mean calls one right after another! They ask for a "Mike" -no Mike here; last time I checked my name is Nicole. I tell them every time to remove my number from the list as it in inaccurate, yet they continue to call. The last phone call, 3 minutes ago, the rep told me my number was not in the system to remove...hmmm how did they dial me then?
TQL may provide a service but they are the middle-man or woman.. Customers are smarter than ever and should simply avoid these fleabags at all costs and call the carrier who is hauling their freight directly, Double and triple brokering are ruining the Transportation industry.. If it costs you 1.30 a mile just to run your equipment before your driver and staff are paid, then why the heck should you accept a 1.00 a mile or less when you get "stuck". All third party logistics companies should have the biggest of hurdles in order to actually function, the legislation and legalities should almost deter them from evening trying to ruin the hard working men and women in Canada and the US who dedicate countless hours on the roads hauling our "JIT" just in time oh so needed freight and the families that stay home and support them and try to manage those ever shrinking paycheques..... All you load brokers who do not consider the carriers "cost" to operate that 100,000 in gear to haul your garbage freight should be ashamed of yourselfs....
You give false information on "customer service being more than happy to remove your name from their list" and they are by any means friendly. Horrible company and very hard to get rid of.
They call here also. Almost every day. Will not offer a load to TQL at 513-831-2600 or any other branch. They are too pushy.
Calls several times a week trying to sell services (it's the same guy every time). We use our own contracted truckers and have never posted anything about loads online. Tried blowing him off by sending him to voicemail several times, but he kept calling. We've now started telling him NOT to call here anymore (he's been told by all of us who answer the phone not to call), but he keeps calling *at least* once a week. I get persistence--I have a Marketing degree, and have taken sales classes--I get that "no" is typically seen as just a "not yet," but in the real world, "DON'T CALL HERE ANYMORE" is grounds for a lawsuit.
