Every time they call, I explain to them that we do not ship any product. We are an excavation company. We move our own equipment. Soooooo sick of these people calling, sometimes just minutes between calls. Beyond annoyed. Reporting to FCC.
I posted a comment on their Facebook page complaining about their nasty phone habits, and they replied "Elmer, if you would like to send your phone number to socialmedia@tql.com, we can get it removed from our system." see if that works. Still scumbags. Post your comments on their Facebook page!
Folks - Have some fun - Waste their time. They will not go away. Lead them down a primrose path, tell them you move 100's or 1000's of trucks per month. Tell then it is nice palatalized freight and only 25,000 lbs per truck, get them all hot an bothered. Then tell them you only release freight to carriers who come in person, or something of the sort. They are paying their people on the number of calls/contacts and the number that convert over to shipments. Occupy their time and they need to hire more telemarketers, but the payback is nil because everybody is messing with them. Sometimes you fight a fire with a little vinegar. I had the guy on the phone 20 minutes today while multi-tasking and felt victorious.
They call and call and call and CALL!!! I am fed up! No mate er how many times you ask them to remove your number, they continue to call and call and CALL. They also WILL NOT leave messages if they get someone's voicemail.
Goofy guy with a nervous laugh kept asking how we get our granite. I told him we are importers. Wanted to know how the granite got to us. I said in a truck. His nervous laugh got worse when he asked who we used for our trucking. I told him we owned ours. He said he probably couldn't save us any money. Whatever.
