Tonight this number called and said they were with Scotia Bank and that they wanted to speak with my wife ( giving her full name). I told them I had no reason to believe that Scotia Bank would call us, especially after hours. There was a little beep, and we were then disconnected. This guy was definitely up to NO GOOD! I called Scotia Bank and they said that no such number is one of theirs. Suggested notifying my local bank, if I wished.
got a call at 10pm the other evening, they should not call after 9pm...i am pretty sure there is a time rule on this. i will after some internet research on that.
Maybe the phone company amounts to a whole lot of people who are working for their paycheck alone. Maybe the phone company doesn't care. What do you think?
I got this call yesterday around 8PM from this number. The man identified himself as Michael and wanted to speak to my husband, for a meeting relating to 'comfort foyer' which we has nothing to do with. When asked if we can call back, he said no, he will call us. It is suspicious when you can't call back a company.
That would be 1-900 numbers that charge high rates per minute even then they'd have to keep you online for a long time. This would be a typical long distance to Quebec -514- from wherever you are.

It is a legit PNC Bank phone no. I wrote out a $12000. check and they called to verify and had the last 3 digits of checking acct. on message.
