Hello to everyone who has been bothered by "D. PURDY Quebec" After going through the same ting as everyone here I then started looking at my banking statements and found charges for electronic withdrawals that I had never okayed. I had to close my bank account and credit cards. All the companies I deal with were wonderful in helping me. The bank also told me I was #23 of recent customers dealing with this particular telephoning and identity fraud. I FINALLY took ten minutes and went and signed up at the DO NOT CALL LIST and Voila! In two days no more calls and none since. So please sign up and try it but whatever you do DO NOT ANSWER THESE CALLS. I have been told they are voice activated recorded to allow transmission of our funds from our accounts. I've been getting calls from these jerks, about 4 or 5 a day for a about 2 weeks. After reading the posts in this webpage I realized that it wasn't one of my creditors calling (I am waiting on a loan check, I'm a student, at which time I'm going to pay everybody off, and everybody will be happy.) So, just know they called and I picked up. This South Asian fellow (Indian?) fellow told me that I have been selected to win a free digital camera and a free 3 day 2 night vacation voucher. Nobody calls this many times, probably 50 times, to give something away for free. They had some agenda to get ahold of my money. And I ain't havin it. Get stuffed. How can they be calling from 514-555-5555? The 555 is for directory assisstance. I just called the number back and it was Sprint 411. They are somehow hacking into the system to disguise their identity.

I've been called three times today. and I want it to stop

I have been receiving calls on my cell phone.....222-222-2249 and 514-555-5555. The first number asked about my puppy ad. He hung up after I questioned him. He had a foreign accent.The second number called my cell phone....i never answered it because i didn't recognize the area code.These number's are scams.....do not answer them.

I have been getting calls from this number since Monday morning, answered once and was disconnected. So far about 20 missed calls from this number

Have had 21 calls from this number today. Anyone have a clue why??? Let us all know what's up.

Been calling me for about two weeks now. Have told them not to call, but they continue to. They say that they are with platinum services. I just had a home phone installed from Comcast at the beginning of Feb. I'm wondering what the connection is as to why we are all getting this same call?

514-555-5555 has been calling for the last 15 minutes I finally got tired of it and turned up the radio Avenged seven folds Scream it's the greatest. Nothing like a womans voice shrilling into the telephone.

I have also been receiving several calls daily from 514-555-5555 day and night in the last week. IMPORTANT: THis might help everyone. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau, (BBB), and they suggested to go to www.bbb-bec.com which is the BBB in Canada to file a complaint and the BBB can file with the local District Attorney's office to investigate to get this matter resolved quickly. Hope this helps as if more of us do this, we can stop these scammers now. Hope this helps.
