Unsolicited call

Got a call from this number last nite 8PM EDT. No msg. Called back and Mailbox is full, Mailbox greeting was garbled. I'll ignore future calls.

I get a call from 515-421-3101 on my cellphone. It started with the "press 1 to lower your interest rate..." At least they were thoughtful enough to add something like "There is nothing wrong with your credit card account." When I called the number back, I got a recording saying that the mailbox for (hello) was full and could not accept messages at th;is time. Try back later. Now I'm worried about cc theft! Scumbags!

This number keeps calling my cell number all hours of the day and night

I received a call on my cell phone. It was a recording telling me to push 1 if I wanted to talk to someone about lowering my credit card rate. I pushed 1 and a man said "Did you push 1 to talk about lowering your rate?" I said "No, I pushed 1 to ask why you are calling me on my cell phone, which is listed on the Do Not Call List. He said,"Thank you" and then he hung up.

I have clients in a lot of different area codes, so I bust a gut to try and return calls, which this one did not leave a message. And it turns out to be telemarketing or worse, maybe a scam dialing people's cell phones. Why doesn't the do-not-call thing work any more?

Same experience as listed above. The recording asked me to press 1 if I wanted to lower my credit card rate. Sounds like a scam.

Something about lowering credit card interest... Don't have any credit cards so I can lower the interest!

Same thing. I hung up.
