These are criminals, they are spoofing the called-from number. They are in Russia, romainia or some other God forsaken place. It is computer auto-dialed. They don't give arip about the Do not call list, they are tryingto steal from you!

People... the callers are using spoofed (that means FAKE) numbers. The numbers at one time did belong to a legitimate business. The callers are probably not even in this country. If you do answer one of these calls always ask for a number where you can call them back. A fake site will never give you one.

Same here. It's annoying to say the least. I blocked the calls from this number but evidently they have more phones to dial from. When I call the number back, a message comes on saying it's a marketing service but no one comes on the line. The message keeps playing back.

they called and left a snotty sounding message that this is my last chance to lower my interest rates on my credit card. and that I had ignored all their previous messages... I'm like duh stupid!then they somehow got my husbands cell number and he answered the phone while working and talking and they wanted his card number....he's like um wait a minute who is this??? what card ....why are u calling me.....they hung up..... (scared me a first thought he might slip up cause he was working and talking and could have given them something...but he can't even remember his own zip code without calling me to ask....i worry about the elderly people falling into this trap....

Calls from this number claim to be able to reduce the interest on your credit card. Yes when you press the 1 and try to tell whomever answers they hang up. One time I did get an answer and was told to "shut the F___ up. One other time they claimed to be the official representatives of Visa and Master Card. OK. Then I think, since no one is enforcing the laws on this crap, perhaps we should file a law suit against Visa and Master Card. I have a credit card and believe it or not I have never in my life had to use it. I carry it for emergencies. I will never use it for things I want. If I don't have the cash to pay for it, then I don't need it. There is a law against this kind of soliciting if one is on the call list but there is no one around to enforce it. Where to you file a complaint?By the way, these jerks use the call forwarding from telephone companies who charge a very low fee, so the location of their base is not from that number. Maybe we should sue the tlephone companies. At any rate. they are rude, nasty and ONE BIG PAIN IN THE [***]!!!!!!!!!!

this is hopeless--we are on a do not call list, but i keep getting scam calls. when will it end? These message boards don't seem to do much good, either, but i keep trying.

This number keeps calling and hangs up when the answering machine picks up. Caller ID shows Unknown Name.

One of very few obnoxious or prank calls that I have received for some time now. I answered and nothing. I said something that should make someone respond but.....nothing. Creepy. I will not call the number as it might invite trouble. Just another non-descript annoyance call.
