Received a call from 530-392-9040, however I didn't answer. Telephone ID gave the name Sonitrol. There was no message -- but, I can't seem to remove the "new message" alert on my telephone, even though I called for the message, and there wasn't one. Now every time I pick up my phone it shows I have a "new message". Guess I will have to call AT&T voice mail with another problem. Who has time for this nonsense!
I have successfully blocked this # by adding it to my Verizon block 100 numbers list using our online account. Perhaps AT&T has a similar set up online for those who use AT&T. Nice not to hear the phone ring once and stop! When it's blocked it's blocked with no one ring coming through. Ah, silence!
I answered this call and they told me they are a solar solution company that could use the current government solar compensation program to help me get solar power for very cheap. My husband and I have been talking about looking into solar for a little while so I agreed to have someone come out to give us a free estimate but nobody came at the time that was given to me and I never received an email confirmation like the lady said I would. When I called the number back all it says is "press 9 to be added to our do not call list" and nothing else works. I'm so angry right now because now these idiots have our name and address. Has anyone else had this experience?
Number calls my phone 2-3x a week & never leaves a message. I pick up the call I asked how they're got my number they " aren't required to provide their source to anyone" and told them I'm on DNC list, guy muttered a bunch of garbage in another language (I'm guessing it wasn't complimentary) he then hung up on me. Talking to them didn't do a damn thing, they keep calling. I don't get it what do they get out of calling like this? Is it just to annoy people?
