I get a call from a Florida area code at least 3 times a day. I keep blocking the numbers, but the guy who calls uses a different number. I'm only 14 and I told the guy with the Indian accent that if he calls again I will call the cops. He then calls less than a minute later from this number: 561 463 6386. I got my mom to talk to him and she told him to stop calling me. He calls for a 3rd time asking what insurance we have. My mom started yelling at him saying he doesn't need to know, stop calling and he repeatedly said "I do need to know." How do you get these numbers to stop calling? This is harassment!
These people are not calling from the U.S. It's doubtful they even work for a legitimate medical compensation employer. They are most likely phishing for your insurance or personal information so they can commit identity theft. Report the call to the Federal Trade Commission.
Just got a call from this number out of Florida. My question is how the hell do they get our number, name, and work number. What do we as US citizens do about it is anyone out there and do they even care.We are tax paying ,law abiding US citizens.
They call ten to twenty times a day. They will not stop calling. They say they are from medical services. And we can get compensation. Do we have any kind of pain. Or has anyone had a bladder sling. Do I know anyone with bladder pain back pain, pain anywhere in the body. I tell them know they call right back. They use different numbers. It is a constant harassment. They are always foreign and you cannot understand them.
Yep, medical scam out of India/Pakistan judging from the clipped tongue accent. Asking if I was in any pain, I said no. "David" then asked if I'd ever had any surgery. I have, but I wasn't telling him that. Told him, "No, I think you have the wrong number, but I thank you for calling." Promptly hung up and blocked the number. That's all you need to do. That's why that feature is available. No need to waste your time or energy getting upset. They aren't worth it. Save that for when your children color on a newly painted wall with a Sharpie. :)
This number calls and when I miss it, there is no message. It's especially frustrating that, when I first started writing THIS POST, a pop up came on screen directing me to a place in Florida where I purportedly won a $3,000 trip to FL including to Disney World. Those are ALL a scam designed to get you to pay "Port fees," etc. in order to go to the Bahamas and "Airport fees" to get to Florida.
I have had over a dozen calls from these people. I have asked repeatedly to be taken off their list, told them to take me off their list and I have already gotten so frustrated while on the phone with them that I have actually held the phone out in front of my face and screamed as loud as I could. If I receive more calls from these people ( if you can call them that) I have my whistle ready. I suggest that everyone else do the same. As soon as I see the number and I hear a live person I will plow the whistle as hard and loud as possible. I am finished with this harassment. Now its game on.
