I just got the call at 2:45pm saying my warranty is about to expire and this is their final attempt before doing something (I forgot). I pressed a number to speak to a rep, and he answered the phone with, "Can I have your car's make and year?" So I just asked, "Which one?" Silence. I said, "hello?" a few times then I heard a click.

I have gotten the call also I decided to call the number back I got a recording that the number 561-784-9844 has been disconected I made this call at about 12:30 pm

Well since bellsouth provides the landline for this dookey head, perhaps we should start ringing their bell for the harrassing phone calls.

Left no message - what an annoying call...

They called hear and said the warranty was about to expire, then asked year and make of vehicle. I'm thinking if they think my warranty is about to expire they should already know the year and make. When we asked questions they hung up.

If you have a new car, it obviously isn't going to need a warranty from them. If someone is going to collect $2,500, shouldn't it be YOU?Talk to them, find out who they are, and they YOU FILE SUIT. If enough people do >>this<< it will make a difference. What you suggest will never work.

Have received calls from this number several times. No message left. Annoying to say the least.

I have seen their number on my caller id before, but they do not leave a message. They called and I picked up this time. They said that I was about to go out of warranty for my car and that this would be the last call I would receive. They "transferred me" (hah!) to a person that picked up and said "make and model" please. I said you called me don't you know what you are calling about? They gave no response, just a quick "click" hang up. Definitelly a scam.

Your information, though well intended, is useless and based on an outdated Internet database. We do need to know who this is, but we don't need any more postings with this false information.

We just got this call, too. We let it go to the answering machine. Of course, there was no message left. We get out of area calls at least twice a day, if not more. It's always different area codes and phone numbers. We are on the Do Not Call List. Is there any way to report these calls to "Tha Authorities?"
