Same story here, only the lady was selling cooking salt. Very odd.

The problem is when you asked the name of the company, they hang up without saying another word! The only answer is to keep reporting them on donotcall.com -- it's an $11,000 fine per incident. Report them as often as they call!!!

i get this call from these jerks twice a day what do i do?

Got call at 6:03 pm Pacific Time about possible trouble on one of my lines. The femail voice requested information regarding information that should already be in "the phone company's" possession if the company were one of my providers. I received an immdeiate hang up and no recall possible. This is a highly lighly fraud scam in action. That is my opinion.

I just got off the phone from this call. It was a robocall until I pushed "1" to speak with a "live agent"The live agent then asked for the make, model & VIN number of my car. When I said that I no longer own the car, she hung up on me....

Experience has demonstrated that I can pay for an unsucessful attempt to do the look up. If you are the Attorney Gerneral for the U.S. or Florda, please let me know how your investation concluded. I just filed a complaint with FCC about this number. I would recommend that we all do this. It takes a little time (like 5 to 10 minutes), but if we don't, nothing will happen. Don't try to take these jerks on by yourself because they have smart weasels working for them and probably more people off shore than we have can access. One of these days, someone will get to them and tear them up.

call came in at 1:32 pm. Said warranty was going to expire..press 1 to talk to representative. They also asked the make, model and year of car. I siad you called me so you should know..the caller hung up. This was the second call in 2 weeks. I am on the do not call list...something needs to be done.

My elderly mother keeps getting a call from this number (1-561-784-9844) and then calls me frantic stating the car insurance is expired. It scares the crap out of me that one of these days, she's actually going to give these crooks some information. This causes her great stress, which in turn causes me stress. She's on the national do not call list. She also has a block on her phone for unidentified calls. If anyone knows anything about the people/company behind this number, please post here. I am ready to sue their pants off.
