Blue Cross Blue Shield ( BCBS) outsources much of its medical coding to an offshore company. I had screening tests as part of my company's wellness program and within 24 hours, the telemarketing calls began. Once I was able to work backwards, I was able to identify that the calls came from utilization review within BCBS.The smoking gun, BCBS left a message on my office line to tell me that I would be contacted regarding any additional insurance ( a joke as I am single and have had the same coverage for the past 5 years!).The Insurance companies have been selling de-identified information for many years under the guise of the public good for data warehousing and research I the public interest . The truth ...it is income made off their subscribers.shameful, but hard to fight...I will keep trying to connect the dots in hopes the practice will stop. ImN the mean time, I will block the calls.

Claimed their medical research department got my number and asked about birthcontrol being used after 2004.got to the supervisor and then the manager. No one could tell me how they really got my number.

I have gotten 10 phone calls from this number in the last 30 minutes! Argh!! I have never seen this number before and when I picked up each time, there would be no voice on the other end and they would hang up on me. Each and every flippin' time!

called 12 times, answered once, got no response, it is very annoying and aggravating

got this call several times……can barely understand a word he says

Keep calling when I answer it rings and the line answers and hangs up.

Same experience as above 3 calls yesterday and one today. I have added the number to my call block app but would still like this investigated.

I am so over these pushy A$$ callers, one had the nerve to call me a [***] when I told him 5 times after the 3rd call to DO NOT CALL ME BACK.. like really I have a log of the calls I received these all yesterday -->12:50 12:53 12:55 12:56 1:01 1:34 4:31 4:34 7:37 yes that many This IS HARASSMENT !!!!!! .....

They CONSTANTLY call me. I answered once, and they said I can be compensated for a surgery I RECENTLY had. I haven't had a surgery in 7 years and that was minor knee surgery. I told them not to call again. They kept calling and I would ignore it. Never left messages. Downloaded a call blocking app and added their # but I still get a notification when they try to call. They've tried calling 6 times in the past hour. Ridiculous.

Very annoy calls.
