The man told me I had a lot of error messages from my Microsoft account & wanted me to go to my computer & get online & I hung up.

Just received a call saying they are from Windows and my computer is sending error messages. I told him I don't use a computer at home, just an Apple tablet so I know he is lying. The response was "excuse me" and I hung up.

I got called twice from them today, both from different numbers giving me the Windows line. They wouldn't listen, so I finally told them (Bob and Kevin) that I could not understand them with their accent and then he let loose on a string of profanities that was both humorous and ridiculous at the same time.

that number just called today. As soon as he told me my computer has having issues, I told him he was a scammer and why doesn't he get a real, honest job like the rest of us !.. then he hung up

567-587-4000 has called my house every day this week. This was the first day I answered. He said that I was having technical issues with my pc. I told him he was a scammer and that he should get a real job like the rest of us and to quit preying on people.

Called me and said how my computer was unprotected and sending out signals. I replied hmm that's odd, my computer hasn't been turned in for about a year and I don't have Internet at home. He said how it can still send out a signal... I said well I'll just have a professional look at it then and hung up.

I have a Panasonic phone system with 5 remotes I bought at Best Buy. It has a call block feature I love. I answered 567-587-4000 and within 4 seconds knew this was not good. I hit the mute button and listened to the "pitch" degrade to "hello... HELLO... Are you there!" He hung up and I saved the number to "Call Blocker". Problem solved. They're persistent; I'll give them that. The phone shows that they call and it was blocked. The phone allows 30 numbers to be blocked and I have a lot of them blocked. It's great!

I have had numerous calls from 567-587-4000 (amongst other numbers) all insisting they are from Microsoft and calling because my computer is sending many error messages - at which point I laughed and hung up. When they continued to call, I decided to find out what they wanted which is - because I've "down-loaded many viruses that have compromised my computer system", they want me to turn on my computer so they can help me fix the problems. When I challenged one caller by saying "Microsoft explicitly warns users that they do not make telephone calls" he hung up. I've told others that they're not from Microsoft and to stop calling me - yet I still receive calls from other voices with the same claims. I think the best advice is to tell them you will turn on your computer then walk away leaving the phone open.

Scam. They call several times a day. Ignore and block them!
