Another in an endless number of robo calls from the same scum sucking bottom feeding credit card scammers. They won't take your number off their lists and if you ignore them they keep calling. If you block the number they it does not matter since they just buy another number for a couple of dollars a month or disguise and mask their original number under a legitimate businesses number. When are the Feds going to pass some legislation to address these muscreants. Just goes to show how incompetent the FCC and the rest of the agencies are.
Yep scammers. When I have time I try to keep them on the phone as long as possible. That is the worst thing you can do to them is waste their time. Play dumb and make them explain things over and over till they hang up.
Guys do not answer or press anything. This is a scam. They are not a real company so it's pointless to select any option that claims it is to remove you from a list. All you are doing is verifying the phone number still belongs to someone when you do that.No one needs a robodialed credit service. Block the number and move on. They will call again bc the robot will hit ur # again. And yes they will call from another number if that doesn't work. Block and move on...
The same crap over and over again, different numbers, as persistent and annoying the beggars are, I wonder if they are from India. Not that I take the call.... I see a number I do not know with a city and state as the caller ID, I know there is no reason to answer. I just turn the ringer off for 30 seconds. The answering machine is off when I am home and voice mail is not activated, so I get no monkey messages.
Spam caller. Spam calls AUTOMATICALLY-DO-NOT-RING: On my cell phone, I've installed "Call Blocker Free - Blacklist" by NQ Mobile Security for Android phones. It is useful for non-business phones to only accept calls from phone numbers I want, incoming unwanted calls automatically do not ring (rings on the spam caller end of the call, but not the recipient end and shows in the app instead of the phone call log). I go to the app>Main screen>Funnel icon>Blocking mode> change it to: "Accept ONLY FROM WHITELIST and CONTACTS". Add the phone numbers you wish to receive calls from to your Contacts (keep your Contacts up-to-date as normal) and/or add non-contacts that you wish to receive a call from to the app Whitelist. With my phone carrier service, I also turn voicemail OFF so that it doesn't pickup a spam call after its set time to record.UPDATE: I'm liking "Call Blocker" by embware for Android phones better for the same and additional capabilities. It has the added aility to add a blocked non-spam number chosen from the blocked call log to the unblock-whitelist, with a name so I know the name associated with the phone number. And, it has the added ability to allow one-click-calling a whitelisted-allowed number. If you want to download it from google play, it has a 'B' on a padlock icon. I change the call setting from "block private number" (hidden callerID) to allow "phonebook only" (only allow incoming calls from Contacts and Whitelist). It only works for Android version 4 or less. The latest embware version changed to a 10-second delay to open (demo) but seemingly fully-working version.
