i too have received these calls, once in spanish and then a sound lijke a cash register after.. nice..
30 SEP 10 at 4:53pm Pacific time. Received a call from this number but was already on another call. Tried to call back and received the number no longer in service message. I have Verizon. Over the past couple of weeks, I have received several Spanish recording phone calls. I simply hang up (even though I'm fluent in Spanish). I don't do recorded messages.
Got a call from this number a few min ago... I didn't answer it... glad it was a miss call now.
so.....WTF does it mean?? i have gotten a few calls on a few different phones. phones that werent even mine but was some spam [***].and i google the number and come up with responces just like the ones i was reading 1min ago. but...... no conclusion. just people just like me. WHERE THE [***] ARE THE ANSWERS?!?!?!? i callbullshit. its a BOT that calls random numbers in hopes that the phone is PRE-PAID like me so they can swindle mins out of you.... if im wrong prove it...death_foot@yahoo.com if you cant then dont bother...im right.
I'm in the Tucson area. My niece and I keep getting these calls. we do not speak Spanish. but know it was about money. also, we hear a cash register ring at the start of the call.I am on a NO CALL list. these started about a week ago for both of us.
just got the call too...not the 1st time. Spanish recording. I hung up
Recieved call from this number did not answer. AT&T prepaid cell.
Auto dialers will randomly throw together a series of numbers and end up calling whatever phone that random grouping of numbers is assigned to, so being on a Do Not Call list will not stop this kind of throw-it-against-the-wall process. It's like bingo balls that are pulled from the drum in no particular order. They are not calling "you," they are just dialing a series of random numbers.
I also got the 573 area code call - the number is supposed to be in an area in Missouri. I just got my new Tracfone cell phone yesterday and haven't given my number to anyone so how did this spanish dude get it? Maybe he's a jailbird trying to find someone to bail him out - I have heard of that scam, too.
