I can't prove this, but I suspect it's Alec Baldwin and the cast of Saturday Night Live calling me.
first time picked up the phone answered. Got donation solicitation, second time just let it go on without saying a thing until the robocaller hung up. Figured at least that ties them up a bit. Scam

They are evolving. I worked in propaganda wing of the Democrats. I recognized the syntax almost immediatly. I was hired to target the 3-9 yr. olds. My guess is this scam more lucrative than others. We don't work cheap. The fishers have figured out who can do this best. Many of us were independants, and needed $$, but would never do something illegal, Well, they have got one of us go to the Dark side. It has nothing to do with egomaniac trump.
Not easy as 1,2,3. Sadly, with current technology, the act of 'spoofing', which allows scammers to display ANY number on your caller ID (CID), blocking is essentially useless. The offending party will only manually, or by auto dialer programming, cause a different number to be displayed, thereby bypassing the previously blocked number(s). The only effective action is to contact your state and federal legislators, and rally for action to stop this nuisance, and to punish the offenders!

Claim to be discover card. I don't have that disreputable card and haven't had one for 20 years, so they have no reason to call me. Very suspicious.
