Here's a little trick to determine if it's a legit call: Let the call go to the answering machine; Call back; If it goes to a fast busy signal the number has most likely been "spoofed".

Guy calls says he's from the level department of a nameless company tell me I have to pay 1832.10 and no address to where the money is to be sent. He sat the phone down and answered it in a different voice and says he was the chef of the department And he keep setting the phone down he almost had me for 1800

a guy with a middle eastern accent left a meesage never stating what company he was with or what the problem was. All he said was it was a serious legal matter and to not disregard the message or he feels sorry for me. Then he says "God Bless". Um... can we say FRAUD!!!

A guy with a middle eastern accent called my cell phone, when i picked up said not interested, he kept calling back every time I hung up. 16 times to be exact. he told me i have your social, i have your address and i am coming to get you. you owe us money. i told him your a fraud. no no. then i get back to my desk at work and he had that number, 27 calls later i told him i just read on the internet and you guys are a fraud. I do collections and this is not allowed by law at all!! My work blocked the number
