Got several calls over the period of a week from "research center". Finally was there when it rang, I answered figuring it might be political surveys, which should be banned also, lady said good evening and I replied "Stop calling here" and hung up. Haven't received any other "research center" calls, but the # of spoofed # calls has suddenly gone way up. Might there be a connection? I think there is.
Caller ID Roseville, MI. Called cell phone @ 4:42 pm today. Didn't answer. No message.
Verizon does have an option to block unwanted calls, providing you are willing to pay for it.As for a cell phone, it already has an app on it that will block unwanted numbers once you had that number to the list.For a landline, consider purchasing a call blocking device.
Received a call from this number. Didn't recognize so didn't answer. Looked up online - thanks to the folks that report it.
No message left when I screened my calls. It is definitely a scam. I get calls at least twice a day. If you don't recognize the number, don't answer. If it's important or a legitimate call they will leave a message. If you ever get a recording to 'press' one to speak to an operator' or 'press 'two' to be put on our 'no call' list. DON'T CLICK IETHER. DOING SO WILL GIVE THEM INFORMATION. Just hang up.
