Donating used items to Kidney Clothes foundation is a scam??

They never leave a message they will call frequently and even when you do answer and tell them sorry that you do not have any household goods or clothes to donate - couple weeks later they are back calling again.

To these vultures using autodialers and spam everyone in alberta, hell yes it's a SCAM!

Calls every day at exactly 6:45 pm. I never answer because this is no longer a valid method of soliciting donations and I have no way of knowing if they're legitimate.

I totally agree, but I bet it's because they have a bunch of volunteers calling, so they can't use a central number. Hampers is a better idea. Also, there is a huge deal with the actual trucking of the items, and that is apparently how the money is made. There was a big thing done on 60 minutes or a show similar to that. Probably a good idea to Google it. I'm going to. :)

I picked up and courteously said Hello 3 times. But ..... No response. If these callers cannot be polite enough to respond, they should be aware that they are losing people who have been good supporters of their charity.

Kidney Clothes is a fraud/scam charity trying to steal your money. Block these IDIOTS who autodial the entire province of Alberta scamming away.

If it was a real charity, they wouldn't be using abusive tactics. If it isn't a scam, they are fools, because they sure are operating like they are a scam.

Several calls... I have blocked the number.Be careful of these scam calls,.... once you talk to them they will never leave you alone. They will also sell "known contacts who participate" to other organizations/scammers.If you are on the no call list as I am, they should not be calling in the first place. DO NOT let them come to your residence to collect items. It could be a scam to case your home and then return at a later time if they see methods of easy entry and / or desirable items easy to fence.If you really want to know if they are for real, contact the Organization directly and ask. Also, if you want to donate, inform the organization and they will help you with the methods available for you to make your gift.Be careful, be wise.

Caller ID shows this number calls several times every couple weeks and never leaves a message? I wish they would just "go away"!
