DEFINITELY NOT Navy Federal. Clients must be careful not to give out any information to these scams. As an actual United States Marine, I can tell you, you're average idiot knows that the Navy doesn't have "boot camp." Only the Marine Corps. calls it that. The shmuck that posted previously stating that it's a legit phone call is obviously in on the scam as well. Nowadays, it's extremely easy for me to call you and someone else's phone number to show up on your caller ID. Heck, there's even "an app for that" on the iPhone, as apple would say.
They left a message regarding Navy Federal account. This is the same phone number that is printed on the back of my credit card, so it's definitely legitimate. I checked here first, rather than answering call.Caller ID showed "MARINE CORPS LO", and the message was pre-recorded with my name inserted.
Got a call fom this number on a Sunday afternoon on my cell phone. I have no accounts with this "Navy Credit Union" and so I feel this is a fraudulent call.
The 888-842-6328 is the 24/7 member service line. I call it all the time to do by banking by phone.
I received 2 calls from this number but missed the calls. Turns out it was my son calling from Parris Island. He is in his last week of boot camp and was given permission to call home. After I didn't pick up, he called and spoke with my wife from the same number.

I called the Chase number on the back of my card and they said they had NOT called me, said it was scammers. I had two calls on my machine asking me to call them back.

Claim to be discover card. I don't have that disreputable card and haven't had one for 20 years, so they have no reason to call me. Very suspicious.
