Just got called, when I answer I get a congratulations message for something I won ! hung up right away.I'm in Quebec and the call came on my cell phone which is with Bell Canada

Received call at 1:00.PM on my cell. Did not answer. Also another cruise scam from a 306-500-1821 comes up on my home phone.They are annoying and worse they leave a message and waste my time having to listen.

I received a call from this no. Just few minutes before and did not pick up.

Called 5 minutes ago. I did not answered. No message. The call seem to be from Hew Hamphire

this number called my phone today and yesterday...I do not answer calls I do not recognize

Got two calls this AM, from this number. Most likely a "Spoofed" phone number. Sequencial dialer is just dialing numbers in sequence. I guess they are up to the 604 exchange now (mine anyway). They can detect RNA (ring no anwser) VM, (Voice mail) or that you answered the phone. With RNA, it disconnects after three rings. With VM, it also disconnects. With Answer, it has 7 secs, or so, to connect you through to the interactive recording (press one for this, press to for that). On my cell, I ignore numbers I don't recognize. On my land line, I answer the call, press what ever is needed to get a real person, then hang up. Requires more man power on their end, with less positive results for them.Telus offered to change my cell phone number for free, but that would solve nothing.Have also recieved spam calls from ligit cell numbers. When I returned the calls the private citizens had no idea their numbers had been used to make spam phone calls. Please check your monthly call records, on line, for fraudulent calls. Don't count on your cell phone for accurate records of calls made.Former Telus employee.

Yep, just received the same call and I'm with Bell in Ottawa.
